Keepers of the Flag Bed and Breakfast is one of upstate New York's best-kept secrets.  We are located in the western corner of beautiful Delaware County, overlooking Interstate 88, the intersection of New York State Routes 7 and 8, the intersection of Otsego and Chenango Counties, as well as an outstanding view of the picturesque community of Sidney and the  beautiful foothills and valleys of the Catskill mountains. 

Keepers of the Flag represents the best of bed and breakfast accommodations.  Immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, and special extras such as wireless Internet access and satellite television are only the beginning of the story.

You will be greeted by friendly, welcoming hosts.  Guests have private entrances and access to our expansive deck where the view is always breathtaking and ever changing.  Our country location is quiet, relaxing, and of unparalleled beauty.

Our breakfasts are homemade, delicious and memorable.

The Sidney area is near many appealing attractions including both the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown (55 minutes) and  the National Soccer Museum in Oneonta (25 minutes).  Nearby colleges include SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College (25 minutes), SUNY Delhi (50 minutes), and the University of Binghamton and Broome Community College (40 minutes).  Many nearby villages offer quaint and fascinating shops, local museums, and other interesting attractions.

A variety of restaurants within easy driving distance appeal to nearly any palate for your lunch and dinner dining pleasure.  We are happy to make suggestions and share with you our personal favorites, if you desire.

Also nearby you will find antique and specialty shopping, beautiful local parks and State Parks, churches and worship opportunities for most faiths, and a variety of other opportunities for exploration.

In spring and summer, county fairs, antique auto shows and flea markets, festivals, concerts, craft shows, and art exhibitions  beckon visitors to the area.

In the fall,  the valley's autumn foliage from our front deck will leave you breathless.  Autumn in New York, particularly Delaware County, cannot be beat!
